Vitalii V. Kravchenko (Krava)

Junior Sergeant Vitaliy Kravchenko (call sign Krava) was killed on September 22, 2022 in battle with the occupiers near the city of Lysychansk in the Luhansk region. Two days before this, the defender turned 38 years old. Vitaliy was born in Kyiv. He studied at school No. 127 in the capital. He worked as a storekeeper. In his free time, he was fond of football. With the start of the full-scale invasion, the man joined the defense of his native country in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 25th separate rifle battalion. He held the position of senior rifleman. "He was a true patriot of his Motherland. From the first days of the full-scale invasion, he went as a volunteer to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was kind, sensitive, with a sense of humor. He loved children, nephews, godchildren very much. He loved my children from a previous marriage as his own. And the children reciprocated, because they felt genuine care. He was a loving and beloved husband, son, brother, godfather. Sincere and kind-hearted, a real man!" - said the deceased's beloved Natalia. The warrior was buried at the Forest Cemetery in the capital. Vitaliy is survived by his mother, wife, brother, nephews, relatives and friends. Posthumously, Junior Sergeant Vitaliy Kravchenko was awarded the medal "For Military Service to Ukraine".
