Vitalii V. Kucheruk (Zevs)

Kucheruk Vitalii Vasylovych was born on March 17, 1999, in the village of Oleksandriia, Rivne district, Rivne region. He studied at Oleksandriia Secondary School. In 2020, he graduated from the National Academy of Ground Forces named after Hetman Peter Sagaidachnyi. He served in the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade. He was the commander of a rocket artillery platoon and a senior officer of the rocket artillery battery. During the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, he defended the city of Kyiv. He was killed on February 26, 2022, during the shelling of an artillery unit column of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the city of Vasylkiv, Kyiv region. He was buried on March 2, 2022, in his native village.
