Vitalii V. Peredrii (Died)

Senior soldier Vitaliy Peredriy (call sign Ded) was killed in action on June 18, 2022, during an enemy rocket attack near the city of Toretsk, Donetsk region. The defender was 31 years old. Vitaliy was born in the village of Kozache, Cherkasy region. He stu at Malosevastyanivka secondary school. He was involved in sports, including football and boxing. Later, he graduated from Monastyryshche Professional and Technical School. He worked as a security guard at the state-owned enterprise "Khristynivske". Later, he made a living on construction sites. In 2015, he was drafted into the army for a fixed term. The army liked the man, so he decided to continue serving under contract. At the end of 2021, he renewed a new contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, taking the position of mechanic-driver. From the first days of the full-scale war, the man defended Ukraine from the occupiers. "It's very hard for me without you, brother. I dream every day to hear your voice and see your smile. We didn't do so much together. You will always be with me, my Hero. I will never forget and forgive. My brother, mom, and I are very grieving," said the deceased's sister, Viktoria. Vitaliy was buried in his native village next to his father's grave. The defender left behind his mother, brother, and younger sister.
