- Born on May 2, 1989, in the city of Chernihiv. Graduated from secondary school No. 28 in Chernihiv, and in 2009 - from the Chernihiv Commercial College (now the College of Economics and Technologies of Chernihiv National Technological University). Since April 17, 2011, he served under contract in the 1st Separate Guards Tank Novgorod Order of the Red Banner, Kutuzov, Bohdan Khmelnytsky, Alexander Nevsky, and Red Star Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1815, the urban-type settlement of Honcharivske, Chernihiv district, Chernihiv region). From spring-summer 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. Call sign "Beaver." During the fighting near the city of Shchastia in the Luhansk region, Junior Sergeant Ryabyi, along with a comrade, covered the retreat of the main tactical group near the bridge over the Siverskyi Donets River, engaging in battle with a reconnaissance-diversion group of Russian-terrorist formations. During the battle, Vitaliy Ryabyi sustained serious injuries and was evacuated to the Military Medical Clinical Center of the Northern Region (Kharkiv), where he underwent surgery. However, on September 7, 2014, his condition worsened sharply, and he died. On September 12, 2014, he was buried at the "Yatsevo" cemetery in Chernihiv. On May 6, 2015, a memorial plaque was unveiled in Chernihiv on the facade of secondary school No. 28 (Myr Avenue, 207A), where Vitaliy Ryabyi studied.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
