Stelnykovych Vitalii V

Vitaliy was born on March 21, 1986, in the village of Bihun in the Zhytomyr region in a large family. His mother died very early, and the upbringing of the children was taken care of by his father, a person with a 2nd group disability. In 2004, he graduated with honors from the Zhytomyr Vocational Technical School with a specialty in "Carpenter-Builder." He worked at the Perebrodske Forestry of the state enterprise "Slovychanske Forestry" of the Zhytomyr Regional Department of Forestry and Hunting. Without interrupting his work, he obtained an education at the Malyn Forestry Technical College. Since 2009, he worked as a forester in the Parashiv Forestry of the state specialized enterprise "Chornobyl Pushta." In March 2014, he was called up for military service by mobilization and took the position of driver in the 30th Separate Mechanized Brigade. While serving in the unit in Eastern Ukraine, in the area of the anti-terrorist operation, soldier Stelnkovych distinguished himself by detaining a criminal who intended to steal ammunition during the movement of a military convoy with military equipment, becoming a true hero to his comrades, and his father received a letter of thanks from the command for raising his son. During combat operations in Luhansk region, Vitaliy was wounded, and after treatment, he returned to the front.
