Vitalii V. Tsybora

Born on October 6, 1993, in the village of Movchanivka, Ruzhyn district, Zhytomyr region. Graduated from the 9th grade of the general education school in the village of Movchanivka in 2008 and from the Zhytomyr Technological College of the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture. In 2013, he was drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served under contract as a machine gunner in the 1st mechanized company of the 1st mechanized battalion of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A2167, city of Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region). From May 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On June 24, 2014, the checkpoint of the 1st mechanized company in the area of the village of Panchenkove, Sverdlovsk district (since 2016 - Dovzhansky district) of Luhansk region, where senior soldier Tsybora was located, came under attack by terrorists. The militants unexpectedly hit the infantry fighting vehicle with a guided missile, in which the serviceman was present. From the severe injuries sustained, senior soldier Tsybora died on the spot. Along with him, junior sergeant Oleksiy Prykhodko was killed, and three other servicemen were injured. On June 27, 2014, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Movchanivka, Ruzhyn district, Zhytomyr region.
