Senior Sergeant Vitaliy Vdovenko was killed on August 7, 2022, while performing a combat mission near the city of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. The warrior was 45 years old. Vitaliy was born in the village of Hryshyntsi in the Cherkasy region. He completed 9 grades at the local school. He then entered the Rzhyshchiv Construction College, where he obtained the profession of a construction technician. He worked in his field. He was married and raised two children. During the full-scale invasion of the occupiers, Vitaliy fought for his native country in the ranks of the 58th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Hetman Ivan Vyhovsky.
