Vitalii V. Voloshchenko

Paratrooper Vitaliy Voloshchenko died on February 26, 2022, during the performance of a combat mission near the village of Ternivka in the Mykolaiv region. A group of Ukrainian defenders fell into an enemy ambush. The soldier died in battle. He was 24 years old. Vitaliy was born and lived in the village of Krynychky, Dnipropetrovsk region. He received his education there. He worked on a farm. He adored fishing and hunting. Later, he decided to go on military service under a contract. He served in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a fighter of the 79th separate air assault brigade. Since 2018, he has been carrying out combat missions on the territory of the ATO / JFO. From the first day of the full-scale war, Vitaliy, as part of his unit, continued to defend Ukraine from the Russian invaders. "My brother was a true patriot of his country and in the first hours of the invasion he took up its defense. He was very cheerful, friendly and always ready to help. His life was very active, but short. So many plans and dreams were taken from him by the war..." said the sister of the fallen Alina. The warrior was buried in his native village. His parents and sister were waiting for Vitaliy at home.
