Vitalii Yu. Fuha

Sergeant Vitaliy Fuga was killed on September 5, 2023 near the village of Chervona Krynytsia in the Zaporizhia region. While carrying out a combat mission, he received a fatal injury. The defender was 35 years old. Vitaliy was born in the village of Maryanivka, Poltava region. He lived in the village of Lutovinivka. In 2003-2007, he studied at the Kremenchuk Pedagogical College named after Anton Makarenko, majoring in "Pedagogy and Methods of Secondary Education. Physical Culture" and obtained the qualification of a physical education teacher. In 2007-2010, he studied at the Hlukhiv National Pedagogical University named after Oleksandr Dovzhenko and obtained the specialty of a physical education and valeology teacher, a sports section leader, and a tourism organizer. He was interested in volleyball, fishing, and hunting. Before the full-scale invasion, he worked at the Dobrobut agricultural company. During the full-scale war, the man became a fighter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the rocket artillery battery of the 116th Separate Mechanized Brigade. He held the position of squad commander. "Vitalka was smart, kind, fair, and responsible. He will forever remain in memory as a cheerful, friendly, virtuous, and decent person, with high moral principles and a love for life," his wife Anna said. The military was buried in the village of Dovhe, Poltava region. He is survived by his parents, wife, and brother. Vitaliy Fuga was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.
