Vitalii Yu. Ostiak

Born on October 4, 1976, in the village of Chyshky, Pustomyty District, Lviv Oblast. In the spring of 2014, he was mobilized to the 79th Separate Airborne Brigade of the High Mobility Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0224, city of Mykolaiv). Since the spring of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On July 28, 2014, soldier Ostyak was killed during a battle with Russian-terrorist groups in the area of the village of Dibrivka, Shakhtarsk District, Donetsk Oblast. He is buried in the cemetery of the village of Chyshky, Pustomyty District.
