Vitalii Yu. Sinkov (Dip)

Warrior Vitaliy Sinkov (call sign Deep) was killed on September 7, 2022, during the liberation of the city of Balakliia in the Kharkiv region from Russian occupiers. He was forever 34 years old. Vitaliy was born in Kharkiv. He graduated from the local specialized school of grades I-III No. 134. He had a small business. In his free time, he loved to ski and go kayaking. During the full-scale invasion, Vitaliy unhesitatingly went as a volunteer. He became a fighter in the special unit "Kraken". He carried out combat missions on the front line and believed in victory above all else. "You were always a Hero to me. You gave me a family and the stars. From the beginning of the full-scale invasion, you said: 'Who, if not us?'. But joked that this was the best job in the world. You always joked and smiled. And I will always love you..." - his beloved Anastasiia said. "Kind, cheerful, life-affirming... Courageous and brave, he stood up to defend the country without any hesitation. I bow to such courage and dedication. Many dreams and plans for life, which, unfortunately, were not destined to come true. War takes the best. Brother, we all miss you very much. There is no one else to look at the stars with. May the force be with you!" - his brother Dmytro said. "One of the bravest people in my life, a true patriot, whom you could emulate in everything. I perceived him as an encyclopedia, he was very smart! And he was also one of the most motivated, always striving for new knowledge and experience. Vitalik always smiled and could support in any situation. We met during the war, so we quickly became close, lived, slept, ate and fought together. With you, you could go to die, die with a smile. I will always remember you, I will always love you!" - his comrade-in-arms Serhii said. "Deep was a person in whom the best qualities were combined. Fair, honest, intelligent, loyal, true - this is all about him. Before the full-scale war, he had never held a weapon in his hands, but after a few weeks he learned so well that we joked among ourselves that he was some kind of secret agent. He was a true warrior, fought to the last, pulled out his comrades-in-arms, always knew how to behave in any situation. You could always approach him and get advice on any matter. During the period of the full-scale war, he became like a brother to me. I miss you very much. We will never forget and never forgive, we will take revenge," - his comrade-in-arms Nazar added. During his service, Deep was awarded the Medal "For Military Merit" of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the commemorative badge of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine "30 Years of Military Intelligence of Ukraine" (posthumously), and the Order of Courage of the III degree (posthumously). The warrior was buried in his native Kharkiv. Vitaliy is survived by his parents, brother, and girlfriend.
