Vladyslav A. Antonov

25-year-old Sergeant Vladislav Antonov was killed on September 13, 2023 near the village of Hryhorivka in the Donetsk region. While carrying out a combat mission, he came under enemy mortar fire and received fatal injuries. Vladislav was born in the village of Mykolaivka in the Mykolaiv region. He obtained the profession of a tractor driver at the Yelanets Vocational Agricultural Lyceum. In civilian life, he worked in construction. He was passionate about cars. He dedicated his free time to his son. In 2019, the man decided to connect his life with the military and signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the ranks of the 56th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade. He carried out combat missions in the area of the Joint Forces Operation. From the first days of the full-scale invasion, he continued to defend his country from the occupiers along with his brothers-in-arms. "The best brother. Bright, gentle, positive. The best father in the world. The best friend. The best husband," said his sister Tetiana Antonova. The warrior was buried in the village of Mykolaivka in the Mykolaiv region. Vladislav left behind two brothers, two sisters and a son.
