- 23-year-old fighter Vladyslav Sypko (call sign Ragnar) was killed on October 6, 2023 near the village of Berestove in the Donetsk region. In the battle with the occupiers, he received fatal injuries during an artillery barrage. Vladyslav was from the city of Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region. After finishing school, he studied to be a cook at the local economic lyceum. He was passionate about cars. In 2020, he decided to connect his life with the army and signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the ranks of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade "Edelweiss". During the full-scale war, he held the position of driver-electrician of the information collection and processing section of the drone aviation complex platoon of the artillery reconnaissance and control battery. From the first days of the invasion, together with his comrades-in-arms, he defended his native country on various hot fronts. "My brother was a very good person. He had many dreams and plans for the future. He always supported his comrades-in-arms and went forward, no matter what awaited him," said Valeria Kyrychenko. The Hero was buried at the Central Cemetery in his hometown. Vladyslav left behind a mother, grandmother, sister and brother. Posthumously, soldier Vladyslav Sypko was awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
