Vladyslav Kh. Zhyvkovych (Khotabych)

Born in the city of Angarsk, Irkutsk region, where his parents (teachers) were involved in the construction of the BAM. Later, he returned with his family to his homeland — to the town of Mryn in the Nosivka district of Chernihiv region. From there, in 1993, he was drafted for compulsory military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He remained in service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, served in the training center "Desna," in the 101st security brigade, at the 30th automotive base, and in the supply center of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. On December 2, 2014, after persistent requests, he was transferred to the ATO zone, to the 25th motorized infantry battalion. He had a reputation as a good person with a gentle and cheerful character. He died during the withdrawal from the so-called Debaltseve cauldron.
