Vladyslav M. Bohomaz

Soldier Vladislav Bogomaz was killed on February 27, 2024, while carrying out a combat mission in the area of the village of Ivanivske in the Donetsk region. The warrior was 24 years old. Vladislav was born in the village of Berezhki in the Volyn region. He graduated from the local school. In 2015-2018, he studied at the Lukiv Vocational School No. 22. He worked abroad. He loved fishing. Since 2020, he has been serving under a contract in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 80th separate air assault brigade. He was a driver-mechanic of the calculation of a self-propelled artillery platoon of a self-propelled artillery battery of a self-propelled artillery division. He carried out combat missions on the territory of the Joint Forces Operation. With the start of the full-scale war, he continued, together with his comrades-in-arms, to defend the country from the invaders. He received the "Steel Cross" award. My brother gave his life to protect all of us... He was the best brother and son, despite the hardship, he never complained and never gave up. For us, he has always been and remains a true hero," said the younger sister of the fallen Anna. The paratrooper was buried in his native village. Vladislav is survived by his parents, younger brother and sister.
