Vladyslav M. Ohyr (Huru)

Soldier Vladislav Ogir (call sign Guru) was killed on April 2, 2023, while performing a combat mission near the village of Stupochky in the Donetsk region. The defender was 39 years old. Vladislav was born in the village of Sosnytsia, Chernihiv region. He graduated from 9 grades of the local school. Then he obtained the profession of tractor-machinist, agricultural machinery repairman and driver at the Sosnytsia Vocational and Technical School No. 31. After his studies, he served in the military. He returned home, started a family. He lived and worked in his native town. In his free time, he loved to fish. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After training, he became a grenade launcher of the 80th separate air assault brigade. Together with his comrades-in-arms, he carried out combat missions on the front line since the summer of 2022. "My husband was a very decent, sensitive and kind person. He had many plans for the future. He loved life, valued his family and children. He always came to help in difficult times. And until his last breath, he remained a patriot of his Homeland!" - said the wife of the fallen Yulia. The defender was buried in his native town. Vladislav is survived by his mother, brothers, wife and children.
