Vladyslav O. Hudachek (Hudini)

A 21-year-old lieutenant, Vladislav Hudachek (call sign Houdini), was killed in action on April 25, 2022, in a battle with Russian occupiers near the town of Lyman in Donetsk region. Vladislav was from the city of Rivne. From childhood, he was interested in military affairs. As he grew older, he became passionate about football and swimming. He trained at the DYuSSh "Dolphin". He excelled everywhere, and everything came easily to him. He stu at school No. 27 and loved books and films with military or historical themes. He participated in history Olympiads. After school, he entered the Ostroh Military Lyceum with enhanced physical training. Then he stu at the Faculty of Intelligence of the Odesa Academy of Ground Forces. During his student years, he began to engage in crossfit, participating in competitions. When the full-scale war began, Vladislav was still studying at the academy. Having received the military rank of lieutenant ahead of schedule, in March 2022, he was sent for military service to the city of Kropyvnytskyi, where he commanded a separate unit. "He loved life very much! He didn't just live, he burned! For him, the phrase 'Ukraine is above all a deep meaning and significance!'" said his mother Maria. The warrior was buried on the Heroes' Alley at the "New" cemetery in Rivne. Vladislav is survived by his parents and other relatives. Posthumously, Vladislav Hudachek was awarded the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky III degree. The street named after Makarov, where Vladislav Hudachek and his brother-in-arms Oleksandr Kulyk lived in neighboring houses, was renamed in their honor.
