Vladyslav O. Kholodnyi (Madzhon)

Senior soldier Vladislav Kholodnyi (call sign Madzyon) was killed on August 28, 2022, while performing a combat mission near the city of Soledar in the Donetsk region. The warrior was 26 years old. Vladislav was born in the village of Ogultsi, Kharkiv region. After graduating from the local school, he obtained a special education as a painter-plasterer. Since 2015, he has served in the ranks of the National Guard of Ukraine in Kharkiv. Later, he worked in various fields, including at the Kharkiv Cardboard Enterprise. He loved speed, cars, and sports motorcycles. During the full-scale war, in March 2022, Vladislav joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade "Kholodny Yar". He was a radio operator - a line supervisor of the communications section of the mortar battery command platoon. He took part in the battles for Izyum in the Kharkiv region, Volnovakha, Bakhmut, and Soledar in the Donetsk region. "Vladka is the most bright and kind person who, in his 26 years, has never refused anyone. He was a good son, a loving husband, and the best dad. He always had a large circle of friends. He loved life. We had many plans for the future. The hardest thing is that our daughter Ulyasha knows nothing and is still waiting for her best dad to come home," said the wife of the deceased, Anastasia. Vladislav was buried in his native village. At home, he was awaited by his parents, sister, wife, and daughter, who was 3 years old at the time of his death.
