- Soldier Vladislav Kravchuk (call sign Adidas) was killed on May 25, 2024, near the village of Novoyegorivka in the Luhansk region. During the execution of a combat mission to clear enemy trenches, he received a fatal neck wound. A week earlier, on May 18, the defender turned 25 years old. Vladislav was born in the village of Sokil, Volyn region, but grew up in the city of Rozhyshche. He graduated from school there. In civilian life, he worked in Poland. He was passionate about motorcycles and military affairs. Prior to the full-scale invasion, he was involved in an accident and sustained injuries that affected his health. After February 24, 2022, despite health problems and without military experience, he joined the defense of the Lutsk airfield. But he understood that he could do more for his country, so on March 13, 2022, he joined the ranks of the 3rd separate assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He received the call sign due to wearing a lot of Adidas clothing. He fought in the Donetsk region, near Avdiivka, and in the Luhansk region, near Svatove. "Vladislav was a loving son and brother. His mother raised him alone, but gave him the best life. She loved and protected him. He loved life very much, was the soul of the company, and it was never sad with him. And his eyes captivated everyone. In military life, he was always the first! His comrades-in-arms said that Vladislav was brave and it was not scary to go into battle with him! The commander said that out of 30 new guys, he was the most promising. He completed tasks with a 5 out of 5 score. He still had so much to do in his life," his friend Oleksandra Zents said. The warrior was buried in the Alley of Glory cemetery in the city of Rozhyshche. Vladislav is survived by his mother Lyudmyla, sister Diana, other relatives, close ones, friends, and comrades-in-arms.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
