Vladyslav P. Karpets (Nindzia)

Sergeant Vladyslav Karpets (call sign Ninja) was killed on April 3, 2024, as a result of an attack by enemy drones near the village of Heorhiivka in the Donetsk region. The defender was forever 28 years old. Vladyslav was born in the village of Sai in the Sumy region, grew up and lived in the village of Lypova Dolyna. After school, he entered a technical school, where he received the specialty of a cook-pastry chef. He worked abroad: in Poland, the Czech Republic, and Lithuania. Vladyslav loved football, fishing, and traveling very much. According to his relatives, he also adored reading books. After the start of the full-scale invasion, he took up the defense of the Motherland as part of the 46th separate airmobile brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of commander of the unmanned aerial systems reconnaissance platoon of the 4th airmobile battalion. For his service, the warrior was awarded the "Veteran of War" badge and the Order of Courage III degree (posthumously). "He was my world," wrote his mother Olena. Vladyslav was buried in the village of Lypova Dolyna in the Sumy region. The defender is survived by his mother and brother.
