Vladyslav P. Lisovyi (Leshyi)

Senior soldier Vladyslav Lisovyi (call sign Lieshyi) was killed on April 18, 2022, during an enemy artillery attack on Ukrainian positions in the area of Zelena Dolyna village, Donetsk region. He would have turned 21 on May 1. Vladyslav was from Poltava region. Since 2016, he stuwas killed at the Kozelshchyna Interschool Educational and Production Complex, specializing as a "2nd category computer operator". In 2019, he obtained a secondary education at the Regional Center for Vocational Education No. 1 in Kremenchuk. He was a 4th grade process operator and a 2nd grade instrument technician. He worked in one of the supermarkets in Kremenchuk. After the start of the full-scale invasion, Vladyslav joined the ranks of the 79th Separate Airmobile Brigade. He was the commander of a grenade launcher platoon of the fire support company of the 1st Airmobile Battalion. "Vladyslav was kind, cheerful, smiling, open, loved to joke. He was always ready to help both relatives and strangers! We miss him very much..." said Vladyslav's sister. The hero was buried on January 6, 2023, in Kremenchuk. Vladyslav is survived by his mother, sister, and two brothers.
