Vladyslav P. Morhun (Student)

24-year-old fighter Vladyslav Morhun (call sign Student) was killed on June 15, 2023 near the village of Mala Tokmachka in the Zaporizhzhia region. While performing his duties, he received fatal injuries during an enemy mortar attack. Vladyslav was born in the village of Hladkovychi, Zhytomyr region. He graduated from the Ovruch Lyceum, obtained the qualifications of a tractor-machine operator in agricultural production, a repair mechanic, and a driver. He worked at the Elfa pharmaceutical factory. He loved nature and fishing. With the start of the full-scale invasion of Russian invaders, the man joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to protect his family and his home from the enemy. He served in the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade "Mahura". He underwent training abroad and took the position of a senior rifleman-operator. "Vladyslav was a true patriot, he went to defend Ukraine at the beginning of the full-scale invasion. He was a strong person, constantly trained, was a man of his word and believed in the happy future of the Motherland. We had a lot of plans for the future, we lived together for 7 years. Comrades characterize Vladyslav as a brave, determined, cheerful soldier who will always come to help. Even the guys who came to say goodbye set him as an example, although Vlad was younger than them. He was a true Hero," said the wife of the fallen soldier. The warrior was buried in his native village. At home, Vladyslav was awaited by his mother, younger brother, and wife.
