Vladyslav P. Ukrainets

Ukrainian Vladislav Petrovich was born on December 5, 1999, in the city of Khmilnyk, Vinnytsia region. He graduated from 9 grades of Khmilnyk secondary school, in 2016 from Kamianets-Podilskyi Lyceum with enhanced military and physical training, and in 2020 from the National Academy of Land Forces named after Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi. From July 22, 2020, he held the position of commander of the 2nd mechanized platoon of the mechanized company of military unit A2960. He was a participant in combat operations, involved in the Joint Forces Operation in Eastern Ukraine. On the first day of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, he covered the withdrawal of the Ukrainian military from the enemy's strike that attacked his positions. He was killed on February 24, 2022, at the Antonivskyi Bridge in the Kherson region. He was buried on November 20, 2022, in the city of Khmilnyk. Vlad left behind parents, a wife, and a son.
