Vladyslav S. Buhaienko (Buhai)

Vladislav Stepanovych Buhayenko was born on September 19, 1990, in the city of Cherkasy. He studied at school No. 26. In 2010, he graduated from the Cherkasy Art and Technical College and obtained the qualification of land surveyor. He worked in various fields of activity. In 2014, he was an active participant in the Revolution of Dignity at Independence Square and sustained injuries. In the summer of 2022, he was mobilized. The unit in which Vladislav served was constantly subjected to artillery, aerial, and mortar shelling, but the personnel managed to hold the occupied positions. The serviceman participated multiple times in battles during the enemy's offensive in the Donetsk region. On April 21, 2023, during an enemy shelling of fire positions on the front line in the area of the city of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, soldier Vladislav Buhayenko sustained injuries incompatible with life. The serviceman's wife was left without a husband, and their 4-year-old daughter was left without a father. On April 28, 2023, Vladislav Buhayenko was laid to rest in Cherkasy.
