- Senior soldier Vladislav Kharkivskyi (call sign Kharkiv) was killed on March 24, 2023 in battle with the occupiers near Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. In February, the defender turned 26 years old. Vladislav was born in the village of Kalmykivka, Luhansk region. He studied at the local school. Then he worked in the slaughter shop. Throughout his life, he always achieved everything himself, was independent and decent. When the guy was 20 years old, he decided to connect his life with the army and signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 54th Mechanized Brigade. Participated in the ATO / JFO in Donbas. In 2020, he received the medal "Defender of the Fatherland". During the full-scale war, Vladislav continued to defend Ukraine. Later, he fought in the 1st battalion "Wolves Da Vinci" of the 67th Separate Mechanized Brigade. He was a gunner-machine gunner. "The plan was to complete the contract and continue civilian life. He dreamed of buying a house and starting a small business. He was gradually saving up for this. He hesitated about the place of residence, because he could not decide on the city. He considered both Zaporizhia, and Dnipro, and Kharkiv, and the central part of Ukraine. He wanted a house, not an apartment, to be cozy, with a garden. The contract was supposed to end in March 2022, but due to the full-scale invasion of the Russian invaders, this did not happen. Vladislav was an experienced fighter. He went through a year of hell and, even being terribly tired, without leave, continued to fight to bring our Victory closer," the Milovo village military administration said. "A wonderful friend, a talented person with a good sense of humor, a patriot of his country. A real, honest and fair man!" - this is how Vladislav's comrades-in-arms describe him. The warrior was buried at the Krasnopilsky cemetery in Dnipro. Vladislav is survived by friends and comrades-in-arms.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
