Biography
Vladislav Vitaliyovych Buvalkin was born on September 17, 1979, into a military family. His childhood years were spent on Sakhalin. At the age of 8, after the death of his father, he moved with his mother to the city of Poltava. He then lived for a long time in the city of Odesa, where he was a successful businessman. He was involved in parachuting and sport shooting. With the outbreak of the war in Eastern Ukraine in 2014, Vladislav and his two brothers voluntarily went to the military enlistment office. He served in the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. Risking his life, Senior Sailor Buvalkin returned under artillery fire to the mined checkpoint "Dovzhansky," which had been abandoned by Ukrainian border guards, to ensure that the Ukrainian flag displayed on the watchtower was not left for the occupiers. Since 2019, he has been with the Security Service of Ukraine. On March 20, 2022, as part of a group from the SBU special forces unit, Vladislav Buvalkin and soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine inflicted fire damage on the enemy personnel and likely the location of the enemy headquarters near the village of Makaryv in Kyiv Oblast. While returning from the mission, the group came under tank fire. As a result of the explosion, Vladislav Buvalkin was killed.Military service
