- Sergeant Vladislav Demyanenko (call sign Dimok) was killed on March 16, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission in the area of Chasiv Yar, Donetsk region. In January, the defender turned 28 years old. Vladislav was born in the village of Buda, Cherkasy region. In 2013, he graduated from the Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi Vocational Lyceum, obtaining the qualifications of a tractor-machine operator in agricultural production, a mechanic for the repair of agricultural machinery and equipment, and a driver. He then enrolled in the part-time form of education at the Faculty of Economic Relations and Finance of the State Biotechnology University, but did not complete his studies. After graduating from the lyceum, he went on compulsory military service. And in August 2013, he signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since then, the man has served in the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Koshovy Otaman Ivan Sirko. He lived with his family in Kharkiv. During his service as part of his brigade, he participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation / Joint Forces Operation. During the full-scale war, he held the position of machine commander of the mechanized platoon of the mechanized company of the mechanized battalion. From the first days of the invasion, he defended the Kharkiv region, and later went to other sections of the front. "My husband was a true warrior, a patriot, an example of indomitability and strength of spirit! He dreamed that his daughters Sofiya, Solomiya and Karolina would live in an independent and indomitable country, and when the war was over, he also dreamed of a son! He was a man of his word, honest, straightforward. We miss him very much..." - said the wife of the fallen Anastasia. The family waited for the DNA results for almost a year. Finally, on February 21, 2024, the warrior was buried at the Holopiatyvskyi cemetery in the village of Khlystunivka, Cherkasy region.
