- Master Sergeant Vladislav Malysh (call sign Tor) died on December 8, 2023. During the assault operations of the unit, the warrior received injuries incompatible with life. The 31-year-old defender fought his last battle near the village of Klishchiyivka in the Donetsk region. Vladislav was born in the village of Lozuvatka in the Dnipropetrovsk region. After graduating from secondary school, he served in the army. After completing his military service, he continued to serve in the Kharkiv border detachment. He held the positions of senior category border guard inspector and deputy head of the 3rd department of border guard inspectors. Later, he underwent canine training and held the position of a canine handler at the Kryvyi Rih airport. He loved everything related to military topics. He was knowledgeable about weapons. In his free time, he loved to hike in the mountains and adored the Carpathians. The path of the struggle against the Russian invaders began in 2014, when he participated in the repulsion of the armed attack on the Luhansk border detachment. From the first days of the full-scale war, Vladislav defended the Motherland and carried out combat missions in the zones of active hostilities in the Kharkiv region. Together with his comrades-in-arms, he defended the sky of the Kharkiv region, shooting down enemy drones. Later, he was transferred to the 80th separate air assault brigade. He held the position of an assault trooper. Vladislav Malysh was awarded the "Veteran of War" and "For Participation in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (For the Defense of Luhansk)" badges, and posthumously - the Order of Courage of the III degree and the President of Ukraine's award "For the Defense of Ukraine". "It is still difficult for me to believe that I will no longer see and hug you. No matter how much of my life passes, I will always love and remember you. We miss you. Your family, your wife Yevdokia, daughters Vladochka and Alinka," the warrior's wife wrote. The defender was buried in the Alley of Glory in his native village.
