- Soldier Vladyslav Trostianetskyi (call sign Director) died on September 1, 2022, in a hospital in Odesa. On August 4, the fighter sustained severe injuries in a battle with the occupiers near the village of Lupareve, Mykolaiv region. The warrior was 26 years old. Vladyslav was born in the city of Podilsk, Odesa region. He obtained the profession of a locksmith at the Podilsk Vocational Lyceum and stu remotely at the Uman State Pedagogical University. In his youth, he was passionate about graffiti and was the founder and administrator of the Ukrainian group "Zasovy." In 2016-2019, he served under contract in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation/Joint Forces Operation, and held the position of radar station operator. On the fourth day of the full-scale war, on February 27, 2022, Vladyslav returned to the ranks of the Armed Forces to defend Ukraine from the occupiers. He served in the 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign. He was a driver of the rigging section of the self-propelled artillery division. "Vladyslav was a Man with a capital letter. Despite his young age, he was purposeful and had his own views. A true patriot. When the war started, he told me: 'Mom, I'm going, I won't wait and hide from the conscription...' And he went to defend the Motherland, as he considered it his duty... Sensitive, always ready to help, a true friend. He helped our smaller brothers, supported the animal shelter. After the victory, he dreamed of getting a dog and traveling in the mountains. We miss him very much, it's very painful and sad..." - the mother of the fallen hero said. The defender was buried in the Alley of Glory of the local cemetery in his hometown.
