Vladyslav V. Velyvok

Born on April 25, 1979, in the city of Mykolaiv. In 1997, he graduated from a general education school. Since June 29, 1997, he has been in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In 2002, he graduated from the Faculty of Rocket and Artillery Weapons of the Odessa Institute of Ground Forces (city of Odessa). Since 2002, he served in the 24th Separate Mechanized Samara-Ulyanovsk Berdychiv Iron Order of the October Revolution, three-time Order of the Red Banner, Orders of Suvorov and Bohdan Khmelnytsky Brigade named after Prince Daniel of Galicia of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0998, city of Yavoriv, Lviv region). Since 2012, he has held the position of Deputy Brigade Commander for Armament. In 2012, he graduated from the National Defense University of Ukraine (since 2013 - named after Ivan Chernyakhovsky - city of Kyiv). Since the spring of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On August 26, 2014, Lieutenant Colonel Velyvok was killed during shelling by Russian-terrorist groups using BM-21 "Grad" multiple rocket launchers at the positions of Ukrainian troops in the area of the village of Khyryashuvate in the Krasnodon (since 2016 - Sorokyn) district of Luhansk region. On August 30, 2014, he was buried in the field of Honorary Burials No. 76 at Lychakiv Cemetery in the city of Lviv.
