Vladyslav Ye. Lupyr (Fartovyi)

Sergeant Vladislav Lupyr (call sign Fortunate) was killed on May 9, 2023 near the village of Kuzmyne in the Luhansk region. While carrying out a combat mission, he sustained fatal shrapnel wounds. The warrior was forever 27 years old. Vladislav was born in the village of Verbky, Dnipropetrovsk region. He lived in the village of Novi Verbky. He studied at the Verbkivska school. In civilian life, he was a miner, working at the Heroes of Space mine. He got married, started a family, and tried to provide them with a comfortable life. Shortly before the war, he bought his own house and moved there with his wife and son, engaged in arranging the dwelling. In his free time, he loved to fish. During the full-scale war, the man decided to defend his family and the Motherland from the Russian invaders and went to the military enlistment office. He joined the National Guard of Ukraine. He served in the artillery of the 2nd Special Purpose Battalion "Donbas". "Vladyk was a very bright, kind and sensitive person. He was always smiling and made others smile. He loved his family very much, especially his son, who looks like him. Although he was the youngest in the family, one could learn from him and take him as an example. He was always for the truth and justice, so he could not remain aloof now," said the deceased's sister Yulia. The hero was buried in his native village. At home, Vladislav was awaited by his mother, stepfather, wife, son, sisters, and brother.
