Volodymyr A. Dranyi

Dranyi Volodymyr Andriiovych was born on February 4, 1990. He was a resident of Katerynopil, Cherkasy Oblast. In 2015, he joined the defense of Ukraine, as a participant in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO). During the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he served in the military as a rifleman - assistant grenadier in the mechanized company of the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Black Zaporozhians. He was killed on July 15, 2022, during an artillery barrage on positions near the city of Bakhmut, Donetsk Oblast. He was buried in the village of Huliaipole, Zvenyhorodka Raion, Cherkasy Oblast.
