- Senior Soldier Volodymyr Ivantcov (call sign Gypsy) was killed in action on May 4, 2022, while performing a combat mission near the village of Protopopivka in the Kharkiv region. The warrior was forever 35 years old. Volodymyr was born in the city of Dubno, Rivne region. He graduated from local school No. 6. In 2005-2014, he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a driver. Then he worked in Europe for several years. At the beginning of 2020, he again joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He repeatedly participated in the ATO/OOS in Donetsk and Luhansk regions. He was interested in history. He had a hobby - excavations with a metal detector. In his personal collection, he had coins of different centuries, antique items, tools, flint. He also loved fishing. During the full-scale Russian invasion, Volodymyr was a driver of the pontoon platoon in the A7128 unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As part of his unit, the man continued to perform combat missions to defend the country. "My beloved is a good, loving husband and father. He rushed to help everyone. Cheerful, always with a smile. Brave, courageous - he went on missions as one of the first. He knew how to raise the morale of everyone. He knew how to calm me down, saying: 'Everything will be fine,' and from these words it became warmer. An excited phone call from my husband: 'I'm alive! How are you?' And silence... You will be alive in my heart forever," said the warrior's wife. The soldier was buried on the Avenue of Glory in his hometown. At home, Volodymyr was awaited by his parents, wife Yulia, daughter Renata, and son Roman.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
