  Born on March 11, 1963, in the village of Palchyntsi, Pidvolochyskyi district, Ternopil region. Graduated from high school. Served mandatory military service in the ranks of the Armed Forces of the USSR. In early autumn 2014, he was mobilized as a volunteer into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a tank commander in the 1st Separate Guards Tank Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1815, the urban-type settlement of Honcharivske, Chernihiv district, Chernihiv region). From autumn to winter 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On March 7, 2015, Sergeant Kruk died of heart failure while returning to the military unit after being at home on rotation. He was buried on March 12, 2015, in the cemetery of the village of Palchyntsi, Pidvolochyskyi district, Ternopil region.
