Volodymyr A. Osypchuk

Main Sergeant Volodymyr Osypchuk was killed on December 11, 2022, while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Klishchiyivka in the Donetsk region. The warrior was 55 years old. Volodymyr was born in the village of Malyi Shpakiv, Rivne region. He graduated from Rivne Vocational School No. 1, obtaining the profession of painter. He worked as a boiler operator at the Mylostiv school, and later got a job at a slaughterhouse in the village of Diadkovychi. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man fought against the occupiers in the ranks of the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo. He was the commander of the grenade launcher section of the anti-tank platoon. "He was the best uncle and friend. We will never forget you, you are our Hero. He called for the last time on December 7 at 9 pm. He said: 'Don't worry, I won't have communication for a few days. We're going to Bakhmut.' He already knew he wouldn't come back from there, because he said it was a one-way ticket. On December 12, we were notified that he had was killed. I didn't believe it until the end..." said the deceased's niece Iryna. "There are no words that could comfort the family of the fallen. We offer our sincere condolences to the relatives, we share your pain of loss. A deep bow to our warrior-defender. Heroes never die!" said the Diadkovychi community. The defender was buried in the village of Mylostiv, Rivne region. Volodymyr left behind sons, sisters, and nephews.
