Biography
Volodymyr Anatoliyovych Trusov was born on February 25, 1993, in the village of Hrynky, Poltava Oblast. He started practicing freestyle wrestling at the age of 11, became the champion of Poltava Oblast, and was a prizewinner at the All-Ukrainian Games. In 2009, he moved to the city of Kremenchuk. He studied at the Kremenchuk Military Lyceum. In 2018, he was appointed commander of a sniper company. That same year, he graduated from Kremenchuk National University with a degree in "Automobile Transport." He participated in battles near Marinka, Avdiivka, in the area of the town of Zaitseve, at the "Butivka" mine, in the village of Stanytsia Luhanska, and in the city of Shchastia. On February 27, 2021, he was discharged from the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the rank of captain. On the first day of the full-scale invasion, February 24, 2022, he immediately signed a contract with the 81st Separate Airborne Brigade. He was killed on March 22, 2022, during the clearing of the village of Malynivka near the city of Zaporizhzhia. His bulletproof vest stopped three bullets, but a shrapnel from a mine during a shelling passed under the vest and proved fatal for Volodymyr.Burial place
