Volodymyr B. Dukh

Vladimir Bohdanovych Dukh was born in 1993 in Lviv. After finishing general secondary school, he trained as a hairdresser at the Lviv Vocational Lyceum. Since 2014, he participated in the war in Eastern Ukraine. In August 2014, he managed to break free from the Ilovaisk encirclement and return home with his comrades. In October 2014, Vladimir Dukh ran in the early parliamentary elections for the 8th convocation of the Verkhovna Rada from electoral district No. 106 but was not elected. At the time of the elections, he was temporarily unemployed. In the October 2020 elections to the Lviv City Council of the 8th convocation, he was a candidate from the political party "Our Land." He was also not elected. In the summer of 2021, he signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. With the onset of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he was on the front lines. He served in the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo. He was killed on March 21, 2022, near the town of Popasna in Luhansk region.
