  Volodymyr Bohdanovych Hvozd'yk was born on June 26, 1981 in Ternopil. After the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he returned from abroad and joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Grenadier of the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade. He was killed on December 25, 2022 during a combat mission in the Donetsk region. He was buried on December 30, 2022 on the Alley of Heroes of the Mykulynets'kyi Cemetery in Ternopil.
