- Born on October 12, 1992, in the city of Ashgabat (now Ashgabat, Turkmenistan). In 2005, the family moved to Ukraine, to the village of Molodetske in the Mankivka district of Cherkasy region. In 2009, he graduated from the general education school of the village of Molodetske in the Mankivka district, and in 2011 - from the Cherkasy Professional Lyceum, obtaining the profession of "Automobile Repair Mechanic - Driver of Vehicles of Category 'C'." Since 2012, he served under contract in the 25th Separate Airborne Brigade of the High Mobility Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1126, the urban-type settlement of Hvardiyiske, Novomoskovsk district, Dnipropetrovsk region). From spring-summer 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On July 31, 2014, soldier Samyshkin was killed during the assault by Ukrainian troops on the city of Shakhtarsk in Donetsk region. He was temporarily buried by the separatists near an unfinished church in the park of the city of Shakhtarsk along with other combat comrades. On October 9, 2014, he was exhumed by participants of the "Evacuation-200" mission ("Black Tulip") and brought to the city of Dnipropetrovsk (now Dnipro). He was buried as an unknown soldier No. 786 at the Krasnopil Cemetery (section No. 79) in the city of Dnipropetrovsk (now Dnipro). On July 29, 2016, he was identified through DNA testing. On October 12, 2015, a memorial sign in honor of Volodymyr Samyshkin was unveiled at the cemetery in the village of Molodetske, Mankivka district. On November 11, 2015, a memorial plaque was opened for him on the facade of the Cherkasy Professional Lyceum building (13 Oleksiy Panchenko Street) in the city of Cherkasy, where Volodymyr Samyshkin studied.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
