Main Sergeant Volodymyr Buchynskyi (call sign Tekel Beri) was killed on February 14, 2023 during the liberation of the village of Zolotarivka in the Luhansk region. The defender suffered a fatal explosive injury. He was 40 years old. Volodymyr was born in the village of Yabluniv, Ternopil region. He lived with his family in Ivano-Frankivsk. He graduated from the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, where he studied at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports. He was engaged in entrepreneurial activity - he was the owner of a sports nutrition store. He was passionate about sports and engaged in weightlifting. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man took up arms and stood to defend his Motherland. He served in military unit A4248 as the deputy commander of the rifle platoon. "Volodya was always honest, fair, and responsible. A loving father and husband," said his wife Tetyana. "I don't know what kind of friend you were, but I know what kind of commander you were. Your charming lectures made our unit the most disciplined, you had to have the best, that's the essence of athletes. The whole world, a powerful business project, grandiose plans, the future of children. Conversations about the fact that we are losing shape, but we will definitely recover after the victory. The warrior was buried in his native village. At home, Volodymyr was awaited by his wife and two daughters.
