- 46-year-old soldier Volodymyr Savchuk (call sign "Director") died on April 28, 2022 in positions near the village of Shyroke in the Mykolaiv region as a result of enemy shelling from "Grads". Volodymyr was born in the village of Lyshnivka, Volyn region. He graduated from the local school. Then he entered the Lutsk Pedagogical College, which he graduated in 1995 and obtained the profession of a primary school teacher. Since then, he has worked in his profession at the Berezhnytsya Primary School. In 1998, he took the position of director of the Berezhnytsya Secondary School of the 1st degree. In 2001, he obtained a higher education in the specialty "Social Pedagogy" at the Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University. In 2002, he became the director of the Secondary School of the 1st-2nd degrees in the village of Berezhnytsya. In 2014-2015, he participated in the ATO. After that, he returned to civilian work. In 2018-2021, he worked in construction in Poland. From September 1, 2021, he was appointed as the head of the Berezhnytsya Gymnasium-branch of the Troyaniv Lyceum. On February 24, 2022, the man again went to the military commissariat without hesitation and joined the army. He served in the 63rd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a rifleman - a grenade launcher assistant in the 107th battalion "Volynska Nich". "I have a daughter who will never see her grandfather, although she already calls him Granddad. This is the biggest thing that hurts me now, he would have loved her very much, I am sure of this. And the only thing I want to say is that I love him and I am grateful. We rarely said this, but I love him very much, he is my dad," said the deceased's daughter Yana. Volodymyr was buried in the village of Berezhnytsya. The defender left behind a wife, three children and a granddaughter. Volodymyr Savchuk was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
