- 37-year-old Sergeant Volodymyr Lysenko (call sign Fayzer) was killed on October 8, 2022 during a short leave after heavy fighting in the Kharkiv region. Due to fatigue and stress, the defender's heart could not withstand it. Volodymyr was born in the city of Polohy, Zaporizhia region. From childhood, he adored the military profession and was interested in technology. After school, he obtained the profession of a carpenter-parquet layer at the Zaporizhia Vocational and Technical School No. 31. He worked in construction and was passionate about technology. He loved to play strategy games. He worked as a driver-expeditor in Zaporizhia. In his free time, he loved to go fishing. In 2014, after the Revolution of Dignity, Volodymyr joined the "Right Sector" in Zaporizhia. In 2015, he went to serve at the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war. He participated in the ATO / JFO. During the full-scale war, he was the commander of a combat vehicle in the 25th separate airborne Sich brigade. He defended the Donetsk region, led his comrades-in-arms out of enemy encirclement near Verkhnotoretske, for which he was awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree, which he did not have time to receive. In October, he received 4 days of leave and went home. "After 8 years of war, he had 8 concussions and several wounds. After the latest battles, I saw that he was already severely exhausted. This had a strong impact on his health. Everyone considered him enchanted, because he could get out of any skirmish. He came back happy, all radiant. He loved Ukraine very much," the defender's mother Svitlana said. On October 7, he last saw his relatives and said he felt very tired. But he went to his comrades-in-arms in Dnipro. And the next day he was killed. Volodymyr refueled the car, drove away from the gas station and stopped to talk to a girl. At that moment, his heart stopped. The man was found behind the wheel with a phone in his hand. "The doctor said he had never seen anything like this. Vova had the heart of a 90-year-old man. He was constantly under stress, and his heart did not have time to restart during this leave," Svitlana added. The serviceman was buried in the city of Pavlohrad, Dnipropetrovsk region. Volodymyr is survived by his mother, stepfather, two sisters, and his beloved girlfriend.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
