Biography
Vladimir Ivanovich Perepelitsa was born on May 31, 1967, in the city of Cherkasy. He was a participant in the ATO / JFO. In 2016, holding the rank of senior soldier, he was awarded the Order of "For Courage" of the III degree. During the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, he served as a sniper in the 81st Separate Airborne Brigade. During the battles for the city of Izium in the Kharkiv region, thanks to his heroism, the sniper group remained in their positions, maintained their combat capability, and continued to successfully destroy the advancing enemy infantry. With precise sniper fire, Vladimir Perepelitsa suppressed the pressure of the Russian troops, covering his comrades who were evacuating wounded servicemen from the battlefield. He also adjusted artillery fire, which allowed for the destruction of several tanks and enemy personnel — the enemy columns never reached the positions of the main forces of the Ukrainian units. Even after sustaining severe injuries, the serviceman continued to cover his comrades with sniper fire. He was killed on March 9, 2022, near the city of Izium in the Kharkiv region during enemy shelling from "Grad" systems. He was buried in the city of Cherkasy. For personal courage and selfless actions demonstrated in defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as loyalty to the military oath, Vladimir Ivanovich Perepelitsa was posthumously awarded the Order of "For Courage" of the II degree.Burial place
