      Killed in action on April 19 (approximately) 2014 due to his pro-Ukrainian stance. On April 17, 2014, Volodymyr was kidnapped by unknown individuals in the city of Horlivka, Donetsk region, immediately after a pro-Ukrainian rally, during which he attempted to remove the flag of the DPR and return the state Ukrainian flag to the city council building. The mutilated body of Volodymyr, showing signs of torture, was found on April 19, 2014, in the Kazenny Torets River near the city of Sloviansk, Donetsk region.
