Volodymyr M. Bilyi

Serviceman Volodymyr Bilyi was killedon February 21, 2023 in a battle with Russian invaders near the village of Chervonopopivka in the Luhansk region. The fighter received fatal gunshot wounds. He was 36 years old. Volodymyr was born in the city of Kropyvnytskyi. He graduated from a vocational school in the village of Torhovytsia in the Kirovohrad region and obtained the profession of a tractor driver. He was married. He lived with his family in the village of Martynivka in the Kirovohrad region. He worked as a mechanic. He kept his own apiary and engaged in beekeeping. He loved to collect coins and antique items. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In the winter of 2022, he became a fighter of the 25th separate airborne brigade. "He loved animals, especially dogs, very much. He always helped people and could give away his last. He went to war as a volunteer to defend his country," said the deceased's daughter Anna. Volodymyr was buried in the village of Martynivka in the Kirovohrad region. His parents and daughter did not wait for their defender to return from the war.
