Volodymyr M. Demchuk

43-year-old defender Volodymyr Demchuk was killed on February 6, 2023 during assault actions near the village of Krasna Hora in the Donetsk region. During enemy shelling, the warrior received a gunshot wound to the head. Volodymyr was from the village of Vrublivka in the Zhytomyr region. In 1997, he graduated from Dzerzhynsk Secondary School No. 2. He held the position of a woodworking machine operator at LLC "Pona-Ukraine". After the full-scale invasion, he joined the ranks of the 30th Separate Mechanized Brigade. He held the position of gunner of the 3rd mechanized platoon of the 1st mechanized company of the 1st mechanized battalion. "He was a cheerful person with a sincere smile and a kind soul. Volodymyr lived for his family and for his family. He was a loving father, husband, and son," his wife Natalia said. The warrior was buried in his native village. Volodymyr is survived by his parents, brother, wife, and two daughters.
