"My dad was a very good and kind person with a big heart and a great sense of humor. He always came to the aid of people, was a patriot of his country! He loved his children and grandchildren most of all in life. He always said that he went to war so that we wouldn't know what war is and so that those scoundrels wouldn't reach us...", said the daughter of the fallen soldier, Ivanna. The serviceman was buried in the urban-type settlement of Lokachi in Volyn, where he lived almost all his life.
