- Scout Volodymyr Havrylchik (call sign Havrylo) was killed on June 13, 2022, near the village of Pavlivka in the Donetsk region. During the performance of a combat mission, he received fatal gunshot and shrapnel wounds. In August, the warrior would have turned 41 years old. Volodymyr was born in the village of Liukhcha, Rivne region. He graduated from the Berezniv Forestry College. In 2002, he got married, and two years later, he moved with his beloved to the village of Rokytne, Rivne region. He worked as a forester, and then got a job at the local glass factory. In 2008, he graduated from the Kostopil Building and Technological College and received the specialty of a glass-forming machine operator. In his free time, he loved watching football and was interested in politics. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as he sought to protect his family from the enemy. Volodymyr served in the reconnaissance of the 68th separate hunting brigade. "He was the closest to us, he loved us very much. There are very few people like him. We asked him not to go, and the man said: 'Who will go if not me to protect my children? Some fled abroad, others are afraid to go there, and I won't sit and wait for them to come and rule in my yard, in my village.' He left, leaving five children. He gave his life for Ukraine and each of us," said his wife Svitlana. The defender was buried in the village of Rokytne, Rivne region. At home, Volodymyr's wife and five children were waiting for him. Posthumously, soldier Volodymyr Havrylchik was awarded the Order of Courage of the third degree.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
