Volodymyr M. Herman

Herman Volodymyr Mykolaiovych was born on March 13, 1980, in the village of Lipliane, Kaniv district, Cherkasy region. His childhood and youth were spent in the village of Berkozivka, and for the last 10 years, Volodymyr lived in the village of Stepantsi in the Cherkasy region. He worked at PJSC "Mironivska Poultry Farm" and at an agricultural enterprise. Since 2014, he has been a participant in the ATO in Eastern Ukraine. After returning home for a year, he went back to the East. With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, he went to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He had the rank of senior soldier and was the chief sergeant of a mechanized company platoon of a mechanized battalion. He was killed in action on July 21, 2022, in the Donetsk region. He was buried with honors in the village of Stepantsi in the Cherkasy region.
