Junior Sergeant Volodymyr Huberuk (call sign Technician) was killed on November 27, 2022 while carrying out a combat mission in the area of the village of Novoselivske in the Luhansk region. A month earlier, on October 23, the defender turned 46 years old. Volodymyr was born in the city of Novovolynsk, Volyn region. He stuwas killed at Novovolynsk School No. 5. Then - at the Novovolynsk Electromechanical College. In civilian life, he worked as an electromechanical engineer, a site manager, and the head of the boiler room at a mine. During the full-scale invasion, the man defended his country. He served in the ranks of the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Roman the Great. He was a scout in the reconnaissance platoon. "My husband will forever remain a symbol of courage and bravery for me. His heroism manifested itself in the moments when it was the most difficult. My Hero, despite his kind, calm character, overcoming danger and fear, conscientiously carried out combat missions, constantly being at the forefront in the Donetsk, Kharkiv and Luhansk regions. I remember with what pride Vova told about the rescue of the wounded, about the award that the leadership promised him... Unfortunately, the awards are only posthumous, he did not live to see the vacation, he did not buy a house..." - Iryna Huberuk said. Volodymyr was buried in the Alley of Glory in his hometown. The defender left behind a wife and son. Posthumously, the military man was awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.
